James and I are really excited – not only did we get married last Friday, but we’ve also just signed a contract for a great new chalet for the summer 09 season (photos to follow).
The place is beautiful – 22 beds in 9 rooms, fantastic views overlooking the valley below and a jacuzzi to boot! It’s a 10 minute walk to the swimming lake and is set on the hillside above Les Gets facing south-west towards some fantastic sunsets.
We’ve never spent a summer in Les Gets before, but have heard great things about it (hence our excitement). The buzz of the winter season subsides to the relaxed pace set by the locals, and the surrounding mountains burst with new life.
All manner of activities are possible: mountain biking (lifts are converted to hold bikes instead of skis), golfing, horse-back riding, rafting, touring and hiking to name but a few. You can do as much or as little as you like, all the while taking in your stunning surroundings.
We will be offering bed and breakfast, self- catered and fully-catered accommodation from June to October next summer. Soon we will have a summer section on our website, but for the time-being please contact us if you would like to know more.
