Winter season round-up

You would be forgiven for wondering whether Jim and I had disappeared into a wintry blizzard this season, but we’re still here, and have been working hard keeping our guests happy and the chalets in top shape.

It was a tricky start to the season, with poor snow for the first couple of weeks, then thankfully the temperature dipped and the snow fell…. in droves!

There was awesome skiing throughout January and February, with plenty of powder for our staff to enjoy, and Les Gets’  first ever  Ski Colour event came to town – the Alpine version of the US ‘Colour Run’.

Participants ski down a specially prepared run which takes them through ‘explosion zones’ where happy punters lob paint at the increasingly more colourful participants! It’s the first time this event has come to Les Gets, and we’re sure it’s going to get bigger and better. Here’s Gaelle and Graham, two of our chalet hosts who got fully involved in the event!

We love our staff here at PM, and every year we look forward to the mid-season jolly. This year we went back to the top Italian spa, and everyone had a great time.

At the end of March we came to stay in the chalets ourselves, and enjoyed some awesome spring skiing conditions (as well as first class hospitality!). Lucas got back on his skis for the second time, and Samuel enjoyed his first ever time on skis, clutching his pussy cat called “Meow”.

As we were leaving more snow was due to fall, which should make the end of this season one of the best yet.
