For a relatively small resort, Les Gets has a large and varied nightlife. It always has a friendly buzz and a Christmassy feel throughout the season, with its ice rink, bright lights and decorations that line the high street.
The diverse mix of bars and bistros includes an Irish pub, an Australian bar, a Canadian bar and a good range of typical French bars. For anyone who wants a boogie, there’s The Igloo nightclub, which stays open until 4am, and is one of the oldest buildings in Les Gets – people have been shaking the bootie there since 1936! It’s only five minute’s walk from the chalets, so there’s no reason not to give it a go!
Our day off during the week gives you the opportunity to sample the local cuisine. There are plenty of great restaurants serving a range of dishes, including delicious Savoyarde specialities like fondue or tartiflette.
If you’re looking for other evening activities, there’s a lovely floodlit ice rink which stays open until 10pm, a cinema and an intimate two lane bowling alley which makes you feel like you’re on the set of an old 1950s movie!
