Whitewater rafting, hot-dogging & hydrospeed
Whether you use an 8-man boat (whitewater rating), a 2-man dinghy (hot-dogging) or a glorified float (hydrospeeding) to get you through the rapids, you will have a fantastic time on the River Dranse, where you can experience some of the best whitewater rafting in the Alps. With short ‘classic’ rides (€38), longer ‘special’ rides (€45) and the full day ‘integrale’ (€65), all levels of ability can be catered for, from the age of 10.

With qualified whitewater rafting instructors by your side, you and your raft are guided down the rapids. With different grades of difficulty, whitewater rafting is accessible to all, and full instruction and safety briefs are given prior to your trip. All equipment (including helmet, life jacket and wet suit) is provided. Read our blog on whitewater rafting for more info.

Wakeboarding
Wakeboarding is one of Europe’s fastest growing sports, and there is no better place to enjoy it than the beautiful lakes in Geneva and Annecy, both within 90 mins of Les Gets.

Like snowboarding, at first it can be difficult to master, but once you’ve found your balance there is no feeling like it – try it once and you’ll be hooked! Cost from €25 a tow.

Canyoning
Choose the best route down the river by abseiling, wadeing, swimming or jumping! Take in vertical drops through cascading waterfalls, jump or dive into glistening rock pools taking in the dramatic views from the Nyon Massif (Les Gets) as you go. A great group activity for the more adventurous! €50pp.

Canoeing
Lake Montriond has to be one of the most beautiful lakes in the Alps, and now you can explore it by canoe. Rental fees are around €12 for a 2-seat canoe per hour, life jackets provided.
