Winter | Summer

The activities

Many people are familiar with visiting the Alps for skiing holidays, but never realise the breadth of activities available during the summer. Ironically, there is far more to do than in the winter and the area is far less crowded too. Have a look at our video to find out why we love it here in the summer so much!

Temperatures vary between 20-30c, and with plenty of sunshine the climate is ideal for pursuing the wealth of activities on offer. Whilst being far warmer than the average UK summer, the altitude and gentle winds mean that it is not as blisteringly hot as other summer holidays, giving you the strength to make the most of this fabulous natural playground!

So whether you like walking, mountain biking, rafting, canoeing, golf, paragliding, wakeboarding or horse riding, the only difficult decision you’’ll face is deciding what activity you’d like to do, and how best to make the most of your time.
