Jim and I first met in Les Gets in 2001 while working on our first ski season. Since then Jim continued to work in many different resorts in the Alps and set up his own ski company with a friend, while I went on to university then started a career in the charity sector.
In 2007 we decided to get married, and by 2008 we’d set up Pure Mountain, and realised our long-held dream of moving to the Alps.
The concept of Pure Mountain is to provide a professional service with a friendly touch that can only come from an owner-run chalet. It’s this hands on approach which we feel gives us an advantage over the larger, more corporate tour operators, and enables us to look after you personally throughout your holiday.
We now live in Les Gets all year round, and love what we do: We run Chalet Forestiere in the winter, and Chalet St Martin in the summer, providing top quality accommodation and delicious food for our guests.
