Cat and I first met in 2001 when we were both working for a ski tour operator in the Alps. Over the course of that first season the idea of our own ski company emerged, and while Cat went on to study and work for a charity, I continued to work every winter season, both of us gaining valuable experience in the process.

Over the following five winters I worked my way up from chalet assistant through to manager, and it was during this time that we came up with the concept for Pure Mountain.

When working for the bigger companies it was often the case that our hands were tied to come up with solutions to any problems that arose. The idea for Pure Mountain is that as the people who take your bookings, cook your food and make your beds, we will always be on hand to ensure your holiday runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible. That’s our aim, pure and simple.

So here we are; 8 seasons down the line, a little older and wiser and still just out of reach of that perfect 360 that always looks so easy.

We hope that our website has given you a good taste of what we have to offer and we look forward to welcoming you to the wonderful chalet Forestiere.
